Unresponsive controls on the Quran Player page

On the Quran Player page, several controls stopped responding: enabling English translation did not add the translation audio, playback no longer continued automatically to the next surah when that option was selected, and the previous and next surah buttons did not respond. Reciter selection and standard Arabic recitation continued to work normally, and no personal data was affected. The issue has been resolved and the affected controls now respond as expected.

   This incident has been resolved. Enabling English translation, automatic advance to the next surah, and the previous and next surah buttons are confirmed to be working again. The controls were affected on July 3; recitation playback continued to work throughout and no data was impacted.

   The issue has been identified and a fix is being implemented. A recent update to the player caused several of its controls not to activate; the recitation audio itself was unaffected.
