Status page uptime display incorrectly showed 0% for Support Portal and Status Page

  • Incident
  • minor
  • Resolved

The status page briefly displayed 0% uptime for the Support Portal and Status Page services themselves, while both services were actually operational. This was a display regression caused by an older version of the status page template remaining active on the edge. No actual service was affected, and no data was lost. Only the displayed uptime percentages for those two services were incorrect. The fix restored the correct display behavior, which excludes services whose uptime is manually tracked rather than automatically monitored.

Timeline

  1. resolved

    22:05 UTC

Fix verified in production. The status page now renders only automatically tracked services in the uptime chart, and the Support Portal and Status Page entries no longer display a misleading 0% value. Issue first reported on 2026-04-19 and resolved the same day. No underlying service was affected during the incident.

  2. monitoring

    22:00 UTC

A fix has been deployed to production. The updated template correctly filters services that are not automatically tracked from the uptime display, eliminating the misleading 0% indicator. We are monitoring the live status page for the corrected rendering.

  3. identified

    21:50 UTC

Root cause identified. The deployed version of the status page template was older than the current source and did not correctly handle services whose uptime is manually tracked rather than automatically monitored. Those services (Support Portal and Status Page themselves, which cannot meaningfully monitor their own platform) were being rendered as 0% instead of being excluded from the uptime chart. A corrected template already exists in source; the fix is to redeploy the current build.

  4. investigating

    21:40 UTC

A user report indicated that the status page was displaying 0% uptime for the Support Portal and Status Page listings, while both services were responding normally and all other services showed expected uptime percentages. We are investigating the display discrepancy.
